Welcome to the Sarah Allen Child Development Center (SACDC) located here in the Central City Community of New Orleans. The Sarah Allen Child Development Center is a Ministry of Union Bethel A.M.E. Church, housed in the Four Freedom Education Building which has been designated as a Historical Landmark.
The SACDC is not Federally and/ or State funded; however, a broad scope of services will be provided and made available to serve children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. Our program will provide comprehensive services to promote success in all areas of education, social/emotional, health, nutrition and physical development. ALL children from ALL socioeconomic backgrounds are welcome and will be highly respected.
The SACDC Board of Director, Administrative Staff and Educators appreciate this opportunity to offer quality services to you and your children. We look forward to meeting the growing needs of our preschool age children and their families within our local community.
To ensure the highest level of staff competence and student achievement; teachers, teacher assistance and support staff will attend regular educational and technical training. University courses, workshops, professional organization, local and state sponsored meetings will be the vehicle of delivery of the training.
